Hello! I’m one of the cheerful former Team Leaders at Birthday Happiness Asia. Growing up in Germany, I grew up with the belief that birthdays are a magical time where we all get to feel extra special for a day. Not every child gets to experience this joy, and that belief is what led me to be part of Birthday Happiness Asia.

If you think leading a room full of excited kids is tiring, you’re right—but it’s the best kind of tired you’ll ever feel! During my time as a Team Leader, I had the privilege of planning parties for kids from all walks of life. My job was to turn a regular afternoon into a core memory for them.

From curating playlists to inventing funny and sometimes chaotic games, I learned how to think on my feet and bring people together. The biggest lesson? Joy is contagious. No matter where these children came from or what they were going through, in that moment, they were just kids being kids. Being part of that happiness was a privilege, and it reminded me to find joy in the little things every single day.
