Birthday Cake

CAKE MAKERS

Mabel Chan

Hi everyone! I'm Mabel. I have been a primary school teacher for ten years and now a full-time time mum of two. From such a young age, birthdays have always been important to me, a day that is especially for you and to celebrate another year in your Iife. Growing up, I didn't have birthday parties as my parents had to work a lot to support our family. However, every year I'd get a special home baked cake by my mum which made my world. A quote I follow is "We make a living by what we make, we make a life by what we give" Winston Churchill.  Thus, getting involved with Birthday Happiness is something I'm very passionate about as baking cakes is a passion of mine.  Giving birthday cakes to birthday celebrants and being able to see the smiles on their faces when that cake is brought out is worth a million. No matter how much you earn, giving something to others to bring happiness makes that extra difference to their life.

Bakelicious By Aisha

I started baking during COVID and am self-taught. I mostly bake cakes and cupcakes that are suitable for vegetarians and halal eaters. I operate from my home itself as I also have a full time job at an NGO. I like to volunteer to make cakes for the less fortunate as I believe birthdays are special and everyone has the right the feel loved and special.I am passionate about being a cake maker and look forward to pursue this as a career in future.

Lorie Kapangyarihan

A  self-taught baker. Started baking for family, relatives & friends in 2008, then to friends of friends. I joined a lot of online tutorials who offers proven & tested recipes. I have found Birthday Happiness Asia online during my birthday month this year, 2023, and have baked 2 cakes for them so far. Definitley, looking forward to making more cakes for the children

A birthday party isn't complete without blowing out the candles and making a wish for a better future for yourself or others. Candles need a cake and we need YOU!

We're experts at organising parties, bringing birthday happiness to kids that would otherwise not get the chance to celebrate and we're pretty good at buying gifts, but we're terrible bakers! We need your help to create sweet treats for the kids.

If you've got time and are willing to pay for the ingredients, we'd love your help to make delicious cakes for our upcoming parties. If we can find 4-5 budding bakers we'd only need your help every few months.

If you think this is something you'd like to assist us with, please fill in the volunteer form or drop us a message at the bottom of the page.
